This year was the first time we’ve had a presence at the London Coffee Festival and, while we’ve attended every year (to take part in competitions etc), we didn’t really know what we were in for.

We certainly didn’t expect queues of up to 50 people waiting to come and sample our filter coffee tasting flight – and we were delighted to serve in excess of 1,200 of them over the four days of the show.

The Brew Bar

We set up three of the new Marco SP9 brewers, that we had a small hand in creating, and brewed three coffees in small batches. The Santa Lucia, Los Monjes and Bifdu Gudina provided a fun and contrasting little beer paddle of coffee – and getting to compare and contrast is the one thing you never really get to do in a cafe.
