I said in an online chat that if Gwilym won, I’d make a 1,000 cupcakes in his honour.

Congratulations to both Gwilym and team Square Mile, and apologies for the delayed reply just got back to office late yesterday.
It was truly wonderful to be there again to watch a magnificent performance underpinned by Anette’s Midas touch with the coffee.
Your coffee life has changed forever now Gwilym so enjoy your time as Champion it will be gone very quickly.
I’m taking bets that you won’t get more trips to origin in the next 14 months than Morrissey did in the last 11 ??
Seriously, Well done to all great team effort and a fantastic platform from which to launch London 2010.
Kind regards to all

Wow fantastic a Welsh guy won! Can anyone tell me where Gwylim works so I can try a cup of his coffee? I am in Cardiff and can’t find a decent coffee, hope you are going to open a good coffee shop in Cardiff Gwylim. Is there anywhere on line we can watch you doing your winning designs? Fab and well done x
Just come across this on the web via the Square Mile Coffee facebook page and wanted to say congratulations to Gwilym. Been a few years but lovely to see the smiling picture of you and hear of your victory. Belated congratualtions. Fi
I popped into Monmouth Coffee shop today, and asked if they remembered you. They told me the news about your success.
Fantastic news – I’ve really enjoyed trawling the internet and seeing all the interviews. Hope all is well with you and your family.
