The Counter is the next door neighbour of my friend Angela, and I love it! The staff are so friendly and the coffee is fantastic, wonderful seedy bagels and quality bacon, love the stripped down style and the changing art. It's my favourite cafe and I'm a bit of an expert....

This is my favourite cafe in London: great food and coffee, wonderful atmosphere, and above all, genuinely friendly service. I wish them every success.

I don't think there's anywhere else in London like this place. Utterly cool. Amazing coffee and food and adorable people. Everyone must go ... and yet no one must go - it's my secret!

Love this place! Gorgeous food, friendly service, and a really warm atmosphere. It's completely cool, and totally unpretentious. It's a bit off the beaten track for most, but well worth discovering!
