Videocast #1 - Cascara

This is the first of hopefully many little videocasts.  Sometimes I will appear in them, or Stephen or maybe even Anette and sometimes not.  They won’t all be very serious, but hopefully interesting.  The first one is just a quick overview of brewing the Cascara and an excuse to film things in macro!

Great film, but potentially dumb question, what was it you were steeping? As in, it looked more like shards of coffee than ground in anyway.

Also, some of the titles at the end flicked up and off too quickly to read.

Hi Anthony - I am steeping the dried skin and flesh of a coffee cherry, specially prepared this year instead of just wasted as most mills would do (or turned to compost as smart mills/farms do).

The final title was the music credits - not sure why Vimeo ate them.

“A Range” by Minotaur Shock, from the album “Chiff Chaff and Willow Warblers” which is a lovely record and everyone should buy it.

Ben - I have an abid?
